Figgo is published by Lucca.

Based in Paris, France, our company Lucca was incorporated in March 2002. We first created Figgo to make it easier for HR and payroll managers to handle French leave and absence legislation.

The quality of our user interface and the accounting logic we used to monitor leave balances enabled us to gain market share in France against our giant competitors such as ADP or Sage, and to grow bigger. Then, some of our French customers asked us if we would be able to handle leave in their foreign subsidiaries.

At that time, we had no idea what it would imply.

So we started investigating, and we discovered that if the French legislation is by far one of the most generous – something which should not come as a surprise to you – it was also one of the most complicated legislation in the world.

As a consequence, our software only had to incur small modifications and be translated in English to be used in most foreign countries.

So we did it.

And here we are, Figgo is now used in more than 30 countries and our greatest wish is to make much more countries benefit from the French unique expertise in leave management!
